The days have been routine.
Dutifully, and daily, the camera comes with me. I cross the city by train with little to vary the route but my own imagination.
It’s 15 minutes walking to make the station — how shall I traverse the imperfect grid between here and there? What will reveal itself to me? Will anything bother to be interesting today?
I watch and wander.
A busy street corner. Overloaded shopping bags. The light cuts just right here.
Life happens, and I point the lens in its direction. Frequently come reminders that the noise of a city is visual; as it is audible.
Polizeieinsatz. Ärztliche Versorgung. Personen im Gleis. Arrival is rarely timely. A middling coffee and a sandwich €6,90 The view of the TV tower free
Both required for the hours of instruction that lie ahead.
Perhaps I’ll find friends inside? I know I’ll be too tired for much else later.
A Distinct Feeling
